Backing Up Your Filters With Gmail

If you would like to temporarily remove your existing filters while you try out SaneBox, here are instructions on how to do that.

This will allow you to do that and still be able to get back to those filters.

To Export your Gmail Filters:

• Log into your Gmail account
• Click on the Settings icon in the right hand corner
• Click on Filters, Select the filters you want, then click 'Export' filters
• Open that file it is an xml file. (Make sure it has your filters in it.)

After you export your filters - you must now delete your filters to avoid them from being active.

• Log into your Gmail account
• Click on the Settings icon in the right hand corner
• Click on Filters, check the filters you want to delete
• Click Delete

To Import your Gmail Filters:

• Log into your Gmail account
• Click on the Settings icon in the right hand corner
• Click on Filters, and Import
