SaneBox and the AirMail client
SaneBox works with nearly any email client, device or provider (with the exception of POP-only providers, and there are very few of those left). The whole point of SaneBox is to get unimportant emails out of your way so that you can deal with your important ones now. We take all of those unimportant emails and put them into SaneLater so that you can either archive or delete them when you have free time. Learn more.
How do I find my Sane folders in macOS AirMail
Watch this video:
Or follow these steps:
- Look for your AirMail Menu on your Menu Bar and select Preferences.
- Highlight the email account served by SaneBox and go to the Mapping Tab.
- Click the "Rescan" button along the bottom and then close the Preferences window.
You should then see the @SaneLater or other new SaneBox destination folder appear.
If you still don't see @SaneLater or your other SaneBox folders, you're probably using POP to access your email account. You need to switch to an IMAP incoming server configuration in order to use SaneBox. Luckily, here are instructions on how to do that. You can use the examples for other common OS X email software choices to compare with the settings layout specific to AirMail: http://pop2imap.com
